Millionaire Mode — The $1,000,000 Side Bet

WickedBet Millionaire Mode adds a $1 side bet to every hand across 33 original games. Six cards are evaluated for the 9♠ 10♠ J♠ Q♠ K♠ A♠ straight flush in spades. Match all six and you win $1,000,000. Every outcome is provably fair via SHA-256 cryptographic commitment.

How Millionaire Mode Works

When Millionaire Mode is enabled, a fixed $1 side bet is placed alongside your regular wager on every hand. The system evaluates six cards from your game and counts how many are "hits" — cards that match both the spade suit and a rank from 9 through Ace (9, 10, J, Q, K, A). The more hits you land, the bigger the payout. The $1,000,000 jackpot is a fixed prize that resets immediately after a win — it is not progressive and does not fluctuate.

The target: 9♠ 10♠ J♠ Q♠ K♠ A♠ — the six-card straight flush in spades. A card counts as a hit only if it is both a spade and one of these six ranks. An 8♠ is not a hit. A K♥ is not a hit. Only the exact intersection of suit and rank qualifies.

The side bet is independent of your main game outcome. You can win the base game and miss the side bet, or lose the base game and still collect a Millionaire Mode payout. The $1 cost is fixed regardless of your main bet size, currency, or game type. Players can toggle Millionaire Mode on or off at any time between hands — there is no session commitment or lock-in period.

All payouts, including the $1,000,000 jackpot, are converted to the player's active currency (BTC, ETH, USDT, LTC, or any supported cryptocurrency) at the prevailing exchange rate at the moment of the win. Withdrawals follow standard WickedBet processing with no special hold periods for Millionaire Mode payouts.

The Millionaire Paytable

Payouts are determined by the number of matching cards (hits) in the six-card evaluation window. All payouts are in USD equivalent:

Matching Cards Payout
6 of 6 — Complete Straight Flush $1,000,000
5 of 6 $5,000
4 of 6 $200
3 of 6 $15
2 of 6 $8
1 of 6 $2
0 $0

With 1 hit you get $2 back on your $1 side bet. Two or more hits generate a net profit. The paytable creates a smooth reward curve: partial matches are recognised and compensated, while the full six-card straight flush delivers the $1,000,000 jackpot. The evaluation counts each qualifying card independently — they do not need to appear in sequential order or adjacent positions within the six-card window.

Game-Specific Card Selection

Different games construct the six-card evaluation window in different ways, depending on how many cards are naturally dealt during play. The consistent rule is that exactly 6 cards are always evaluated, using a deterministic selection method tied to the provably fair seed:

Blackjack & Pontoon

The first 6 cards from the shuffled shoe are evaluated. These include the player's and dealer's dealt cards plus additional shoe positions as needed to reach six. Because Blackjack uses a multi-deck shoe, the card composition differs from single-deck games.

Three Card Poker

Player's 3 cards + dealer's 3 cards = 6 cards evaluated. This is the natural card count for Three Card Poker, making it a seamless fit for the Millionaire Mode window with no bonus cards required.

Casino Hold'em & Ultimate Texas Hold'em

The first 6 cards from the deal sequence are evaluated. Player's 2 hole cards + 4 of the 5 community cards, or similar selection from the provably fair seed derivation. Hold'em-style games use a deterministic selection of 6 cards from the dealt positions.

Pai Gow Poker

Six of the player's 7-card hand are evaluated for the Millionaire Mode window. The Joker, which is used as a semi-wild in the base Pai Gow game, is treated as a non-matching card for side bet purposes and cannot substitute for a target spade.

Mississippi Stud & Let It Ride

Player's cards + community cards form 5 dealt cards. One bonus card is drawn from the next deck position to complete the 6-card window.

Caribbean Stud, Oasis Poker & Four Card Poker

Player cards + dealer cards + bonus cards from the deck fill the remaining positions up to 6. The number of bonus cards varies by game depending on how many cards are naturally dealt.

Baccarat, Casino War, Dragon Tiger, Red Dog & Andar Bahar

Games that deal fewer than 6 cards naturally use the first 6 positions from the shuffled deck. Cards dealt during play overlap with these positions; any remaining are drawn as virtual cards for evaluation only. Virtual cards do not affect the base game outcome.

Golden Events — Dice & Plinko

Two games feature unique Millionaire Mode mechanics that operate differently from the card-based side bet. These Golden Event systems use spawn probability and multi-stage challenges instead of card evaluation:

Dice — Golden Roll

When Millionaire Mode is active, each Dice round has a chance to trigger a Golden Roll — a multi-stage precision challenge. The player rolls through six stages with progressively shrinking target zones (35%, 26%, 17%, 11%, 7%, 4.5%). Hit a stage to collect the prize and advance; miss and the challenge ends. The player can also cash out at any stage, locking in the current prize without risking the next roll.

Payouts at a $1 bet: Stage 1 = $1, Stage 2 = $5, Stage 3 = $50, Stage 4 = $500, Stage 5 = $10,000, Stage 6 = $1,000,000. Higher bets scale the intermediate prizes linearly (up to $20 at Stage 1 through $45,000 at Stage 5 for a $20 bet), but Stage 6 is always a fixed $1,000,000 regardless of bet size.

Golden Roll spawn probability scales with bet size using the formula: probability = min(5%, 0.25% × bet in USD). At $1 the spawn chance is 0.25%, at $10 it is 2.5%, and at $20+ it caps at 5%.

Plinko — Golden Ball

In Millionaire Mode, a golden ball can appear instead of the regular ball. If the golden ball lands in one of the outermost edge slots (position 0 or the maximum position for the row count), the player wins $1,000,000. The edge slots are the lowest-probability landing positions on the Plinko board, making the jackpot an extraordinary event.

Golden ball spawn frequency increases with bet size. Higher-risk settings (low/medium/high) provide a slight frequency multiplier. The golden ball follows the exact same physics and peg-bounce path derivation as regular balls, ensuring the landing position is determined by the provably fair seed and nothing else.

Provably Fair Verification

Every Millionaire Mode outcome uses the same SHA-256 provably fair system as the base game. The verification flow operates as follows:

  1. Before each round, the server generates a random seed and publishes its SHA-256 hash. This locks the server's contribution before any bet is placed.
  2. The player provides a client seed (or uses the auto-generated default), adding their own entropy to the result derivation.
  3. A nonce increments per round within the session, preventing seed reuse across successive games.
  4. The result is derived via HMAC-SHA256(server_seed, client_seed + ":" + nonce), and the resulting hash is mapped to the game-specific result space.
  5. After the round, the server reveals the unhashed seed. The player can independently hash this seed and confirm it matches the pre-committed hash.

Card draws, Golden Roll spawns, Golden Ball spawns, and all side bet evaluations are derived from these same cryptographic seeds through separate derivation paths. Golden Events use a distinct portion of the hash output from the base game result, ensuring statistical independence between the main game outcome and the Millionaire Mode evaluation. This design makes it impossible for the server to selectively trigger or suppress any outcome after a bet is placed.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Millionaire Mode side bet?

A $1 side bet placed alongside your regular wager. Six cards from your game are evaluated for matches against the target: 9, 10, J, Q, K, A of spades. Match all six for $1,000,000.

What counts as a "hit" in the Millionaire Mode paytable?

A hit is a card that matches BOTH the spade suit AND one of the six target ranks (9 through Ace). An 8 of spades does not count. A King of hearts does not count. Only spades in the 9-A range qualify.

How do different games pick the 6 evaluation cards?

It varies by game. Blackjack uses the first 6 shoe cards. Three Card Poker uses player 3 + dealer 3. Hold'em variants use 6 cards from the deal sequence. Games with fewer natural cards draw additional cards from the deck to reach 6.

How do Dice and Plinko Millionaire Mode differ from the card games?

Dice features a Golden Roll multi-stage precision challenge with escalating prizes up to $1,000,000. Plinko features a Golden Ball that awards $1,000,000 if it lands in an edge slot. Both use spawn probability that scales with bet size rather than the 6-card side bet system.

Is the $1,000,000 jackpot provably fair?

Yes. All outcomes use SHA-256 cryptographic commitment. The server seed is hashed and shown before your bet. After the round, the seed is revealed for independent verification. Card selection, Golden Roll spawns, and Golden Ball spawns all derive from these same verifiable seeds.

What currencies can I use for Millionaire Mode?

Millionaire Mode works with all supported cryptocurrencies including BTC, ETH, USDT, and LTC. The $1 side bet is converted to your active currency at the current exchange rate. Jackpot payouts are also converted to your playing currency at the rate at the moment of the win.
